Overall Evaluation and Plugins

The site i've made, although difficult and very frustrating to use a majority of the time has utilised many different plugins in order to create many of the functions of the site properly. In order for me to create this site i have had to work through many plugins in order to get everything the way it needs to be.

The plugins i have used are;

1. Booking system

I have used this plugin to create a calendar that has seletable dates in order to book and buy tickets for each day.

2. Google Analytics By Yoast

I have used this to show the analytics of my site through the preselected SEO plugin

3. Social Media Mashup

Used for the live homepage social media feed

4. Woocommerce Shop

Used for the shop, account and paypal

5. Wordpress SEO by Yoast

I have used this plug in for Search engine optimisation, in order to show my site along other relevant ones on search engines such as google

I think, overall this project has taught me that i really do have a lack of knowledge in web building, and i don't feel i will ever be able to excel at this type of job or in this type of environment. That said, it has made me realise the value of the colour pallet much more in terms of attention grabbing and header creation. The site itself is done to the best of my ability, utilising my knowledge of photoshop and illustrator alongside with my flare for colour. This has lead to the execution and creation of a very sleek and user friendly site.

Although web is clearly not the road for me to go down i am happy with the site i have created and if my illustrative design takes anything from this, it will be my new found love of flat colours and the vibrancy with which certain contrasting colours hit the user and draw the eye in.
